The Vivid Constant Current 8W Directional Plaster-in downlight is a trimless recessed adjustable architectural downlight, which tilts by 35° and rotates by 360. The combination of the SORAA VIVID range of light sources and Levello Light fittings gives a luminaire which is flexible, easy to maintain and has fabulous colour rendering. Once installed it has an almost invisible appearance in the ceiling, especially when used with paintable front plates.
Soraa VIVID lamps offer beautiful and accurate colour and white rendering across the entire visible spectrum, mimicking the natural range of sunlight, to deliver unmatched quality of light for colour critical applications.
The GU5.3 Constant Current lamps are supplied with a pre-wired eldoLED Driver for simple quick installation.
You can select from non fire-rated and 60-minute fire-rated options above; a variety of beam angles and beam shapes as well as Glare Reduction and Colour Changing Options.
The fully interchangeable design of this product within the Levello range offers unparalleled flexibility and ease of maintenance. Luminaires, lamps, and even PIR sensors can be swapped quickly and easily, ensuring that the lighting system remains versatile and up-to-date without causing damage to the ceiling.

Easy Maintenance
No spring clips, no complicated twist and lock fixing systems, just simple magnets. Pull the insert out and swap the lamp or even change the fitting.
What's in the box
We supply everything you need to install and fit our products with the exception of a 62mm holesaw which you will find under accessories section of our website
First Fix Housing
You can choose between using our Classic Housing or our Retrofit Housing. The First Fix Housing is supplied complete with the supply connector and installation instructions. The Housings can be ordered separately so that the second fix components do not get lost on site.
Prewired Driver with Connectors
The Divers are supplied pre-wired with both mains and low voltage connectors and a GU5.3 lampholder, these are factory tested to ensure a simple quick installation.
Front Plate
The Front Plate (or bezel) is zinc plated before it is finished to minimise the chances of corrosion. Paintable front plates which become more or less invisible in the ceiling are available.
Directional Insert
The Directional insert comes assembled with a magnet and is supplied with a spring clip to hold the lamp in place. It rotates 360° and can be tilted to up to 35°.
Magnets
Two magnets are supplied as one magnet is fixed into the directional insert - the Levello system requires 3 magnets in total.
Decorators Cards
We supply decorators cards to protect the interior of the first fix housing from contamination from paint or plaster. See installation instructions on their use.
Soraa Vivid Constant Current Lamp
The lamp will be fitted with any accessories ordered, just fit the GU5.3 lampholder, pop it into the installed housing and the magnet will guide it into place.
Installation
First Fix Installation
Installation is simple and the results will be fabulous, as long as you follow our installation steps.
The supply cable is terminated to the connector and to the earth strap of the housing. Next the housing is permanently fixed into the ceiling. The ceiling is then plastered so the rim of the housing is flush with the plastered ceiling (see Video). Decorators’ cards are provided to protect the inside of the housing from contamination with paint or plaster (see previous picture).
Second Fix Installation
Fit the lamp into the Directional Insert (see video), plug in the connector and fit the insert into the housing. the magnets will help guide it into place.
