Hi Edward, the siimple answer is yes, using the special retro fit tool bit LE9008.

However we advise caution when using this, the dirlling needs to be done carefully and precisely as you are drilling into old plaster and so it is impossible to cut a perfectly clean hole. Therefore, you will still need to use our decorating discs (included with the fittings) and carefully fill and make good around the hole - taking care not to damage the housing or its powder coating. Where possible avoid using sandpaper.

You will then need to either 'cut-in' the paint around the fitting or re paint the whole ceiling to achieve a perfect finish.

Alternatively we offer a range of 'Oops' front plates LE9035. They are effectively a bezel that have a bigger diameter than our housings and so cover up around the edge of the housing and the drilled hole in the plaster. The compromise is that they are not totally flush with the ceiling.

Hope this helps, please email sales@levello.com if you would like more info / pictures of the drill bit and Oops plates.

Sam.
